About Me

My name is Yelena (or Elena in Russian).
I am a self-taught artist who enjoys the process of creation and transformation of the blank canvas into art. I don’t have an art education, but my desire to create brought me into painting not so long ago.  So, I am in the experimenting stage now. And My Gallery is a journal of it.

Richard Bach said in Illusions: “I do not exist to impress the world. I exist to live my life in a way that will make me happy.” Painting, photography, doing anything creative excites me and makes me happy. And I thank You for allowing me to share my happiness with You.

Born in Ukraine.
Education: civil engineer - architect.
Currently residing in Atlanta, GA, USA and employed full time in IT field.

I am a proud supporter of:

Gallery is very pleased with their uniqueness and style of execution.
It is very pleasing to the eye using warm colors to your pictures!

  2. Thanks for coming to my page, as I’m browsing through your site, I found it funny that we do share some points, as was a civil engineer…..and rediscovered drawing and painting later…you have some beautiful paintings…thanks for sharing!

  3. Thank YOU. I actually “redirected” to many professions since I came to US. Started as a waitress with no English, now I am a team lead of the small programming group. Painting is what I do after ‘serious’ job. I wish it would be vice versa…

  4. Thanks for the like on my post. It’s nice having fellow artists pop in and check each others’ work out, so thanks for that. I REALLY like your work here. Think I might browse a bit. :)

    Mike
