My name is Yelena (or Elena in Russian).
I am a self-taught artist who enjoys the process of creation and transformation of the blank canvas into art. I don’t have an art education, but my desire to create brought me into painting not so long ago. So, I am in the experimenting stage now. And My Gallery is a journal of it.
Richard Bach said in Illusions: “I do not exist to impress the world. I exist to live my life in a way that will make me happy.” Painting, photography, doing anything creative excites me and makes me happy. And I thank You for allowing me to share my happiness with You.

Thanks for coming to my page, as I’m browsing through your site, I found it funny that we do share some points, as was a civil engineer…..and rediscovered drawing and painting later…you have some beautiful paintings…thanks for sharing!
Thank YOU. I actually “redirected” to many professions since I came to US. Started as a waitress with no English, now I am a team lead of the small programming group. Painting is what I do after ‘serious’ job. I wish it would be vice versa…
