Under the Tuscan Sun

“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” – Robert Brault -

This painting was inspired by the photos that I took during my trip to Italy in 2007. That field took my breath away and we had to stop the car for me to enjoy it, touch it, take it in… In addition it seems that I have a special soul connection with poppies – I can’t stop painting them… Also my new love is metallic paint. I like the shimmer and reflection what it gives (very hard to take decent photo though). So I’ll keep experimenting with metallics.
